WHAT, I say WHAT??? False eye lashes. You are not serious. I'm trying really hard here. Is this like the time I dressed up like an Indian Squaw for a MDA party.??? Then promptly informed them they'd lost there minds and possibly mine. The things we do. All I can say is post the darn pictures. *J*

Re:so I have to wear some sort of a one-piece undergarment (I think the whole chorus gets catheterized before concerts), and sequined pants and tops, not to mention makeup and false eyelashes for the shows.

Okay, so it's 11:18 at night and we just read this, and we're rolling on the floor!Rolling!

We have got to have pictures of this, words just won't do.

Speaking of pictures, what a shock to see all that snow, but what a great shot. I am so glad you adopted another girl who needs your TLC.

What adventures you are having.

What's happening out there now? Any signs of spring?

Hey Betsy!! Love the pictures, absolutely stunning!! Hey your hair is longer then I've ever seen it. So yes, I need to get studying the maps and plan a travel westward. I'm even thinking the west side of the Grand what with the cool air walk the tribe has installed on the west side. I love it. I want to look 4000 feet down through 4 inches of glass. Ken says " have fun, hun, I don't do hieghts" . Well we shall see, as for this summer it will be back to RI for July 29th, Sheila's due date. Yes I'm beating you as granma. Yeh!! I win. :0) xoxoMaureen

What wonderful words and pictures, glad I check in. Sounds as if you had some great times with Sarah and Ben, not to mention the compost heap...
Happy New Year, dear Betsy. We hope to get out there one of these days.

Happy holidays to you Betsy, and Bubba and Maybelline! Your card was so beautiful.

The snow looks so gorgeous out there, hope you are snug and warm in your little house.

Have you heard about our freakishly warm weather back in RI? It is surreal to see the daffodils and tulips starting to push up in Janaury.

Hi Betsy,

I enjoyed the photos and narrative. You can keep the cold and snow out there. We like our global warming here in the East, especially now that Domino has moved into his new home and I have to go down to the barn and clean the stalls every morning. Right now Allie has a young thoroughbred here. They get along, but the yearling has become much more active now that he has space to play...so we are thinking of switching him off for her grey pony thay won't be so high strung. But the big D. has settled in quite well and is of course the head horse. The problem is that he is still lame -- tried new shoes again and we have scheduled a trip to Uxbridge again in Jan. for more xrays. I wonder if he'll just be the companion horse.

You probably heard all about the drama of Duncan getting stuck in the mud at Weetamo. After 5 hours and 10 firemen, he was rescuded in a front loader.

I can't remember what you are doing for the holidays. Perhaps your kids were visitng?

I REALLY want to come stay in a cozy cabin!

Love, Nancy

Bets, enjoying your blog while I recoup from minor surgery. But a man w/o his miniscus is a sad thing indeed.
